How to move a unit to storage, and when to use It
Modified on Thu, 27 Feb at 10:02 AM
Moving a unit to storage is a useful option when you want to temporarily pause its operation, such as when the trap is in an area where it’s not intended to work. This action will also pause the billing period for that unit.
Steps to move a unit to storage:
- Open the Aurotrap Manager app.
- Go to the "Customers" section.
- Click on the customer account where the trap is registered.
- Navigate to the "Traps" section.
- Click on the specific trap you want to move to storage.
- Select "Move to Storage".
- Confirm the action to move the trap to storage.
When to use this option:
- When the trap is placed in a location where it is not intended to operate, such as during off-seasons, maintenance periods, or when the area is not suitable for trapping.
- To pause the trap’s killing and activity observation. This ensures the trap will not be active or collect data while in storage.
- To pause the billing period for the trap. Moving it to storage ensures you're not billed for the unit while it’s inactive.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage your traps and ensure they are only active when needed.
